On April 23, the 27th Russian International Mining Machinery Exhibition (Mining World Russia 2024) opened in Moscow. Shijiazhuang Weilida brought its independently developed mining drill rod series products to the global mining market to show China's high-end equipment manufacturing strength.
As a technical benchmark enterprise in the field of domestic drill rods, Weilida focused on exhibiting high-strength wear-resistant drill rods and intelligent drill rod monitoring systems suitable for deep hole drilling and high-cold operations. The product uses special alloy steel and surface strengthening technology, and its service life is 30% longer than that of traditional drill rods. Its intelligent sensor can provide real-time feedback on drilling parameters, helping mining companies reduce costs and increase efficiency. After on-site experience, many Central Asian and Russian mining companies said that the stability and data accuracy of the equipment in extremely cold environments far exceeded expectations, and a preliminary purchase intention has been reached.
Weilida's overseas market director pointed out: "Russia and Central Asia have strong demand for mineral development, but high-end drill pipes have long relied on imports. We have successfully entered this market through localized service networks and customized solutions, and exports to Russia will increase by more than 50% in 2023." During the exhibition, the company also signed a strategic agreement with two Russian mining groups, and it is expected that orders will exceed US$8 million this year.
At this exhibition, Shijiazhuang Weilida promoted the "going out" of Chinese drilling equipment with innovative technology, injecting new momentum into the "Belt and Road" mining cooperation.
